Pamela Cantor is a highly trained skin care professional with 20 over years in the industry providing affordable corrective care to clients from nine to ninety. Pam entered the personal care industry after a successful twenty year career as a distributor in the consumer electronics industry. Her interest in the skin care field was largely due to having two teens with cystic acne. Disappointed by the medical industry's failure to get positive results for her children, she decided to research the skin care industry.
"I couldn't have entered the industry at a better time. The focus of skin care was changing dramatically from pampering and relaxation to corrective care of skin conditions ranging from acne to anti-aging. And the industry continues to change and evolve with the addition of cutting-edge product ingredients and treatment equipment to speed results. I spend as much time with continuing education to stay current as I do treating clients."
Initially educated at College of San Mateo's Esthetic course and Don's Beauty School, Pam has received numerous certifications for advance education, belongs to many professional organizations that stress continuing education not presently required by the state of California, attends a minimum of one advance training per month and reads education books and trade magazines on a regular basis.
In addition, Pam is a Look Good, Feel Better volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Look Good, Feel Better is a program that offers classes to help patients undergoing cancer treatment information on dealing with their altered appearance. "I love working with onchology patients whom I consider incredibly strong. If I can help make their journey through treatment less agonizing, I feel privileged."
